INTRODUCING

THE VITAL SIGNS ARE GOOD LEGACY 2019 AQHA WORLD SHOW TWO YEAR OLD WESTERN PLEASURE INCENTIVE

Kristen Glover Galyean and Vital Signs Are Good made history in the AQHA World Show arena, more than once. The legendary mare will be inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2019, just a year after her death. To honor her, and the legacy she left, the Glover Galyean Partnership has created the VSAG World Show Two Year Old Western Pleasure Incentive, slated to pay $25,000 to the highest placing VS Code Red or VS Flatline offspring at the 2019 AQHA World Championship Show in the Two Year Old Western Pleasure. Both stallions, owned by the Glover Galyean Partnership, are sons of Vital Signs Are Good (VSAG), owned by the family where the dyansty began.

The AQHA World Championship Show carries sentimentality for the Glover Family, explained Debbie Glover. “It’s where we first laid eyes on Lucy (Vital Signs Are Good), when she was a two year old, and she won the two year old western pleasure there. It made sense to have her legacy honored where it all started for us.”

The Glover Galyean Partnership is excited to invest in the future of the western pleasure industry, by creating an incentive program that celebrates the life of Vital Signs Are Good and the legacy she left with us through her sons, VS Code Red and VS Flatline. “We designed this incentive to bring added excitement to the western pleasure industry, while giving back to the mare owners who continue to raise champions by VS Code Red and VS Flatline,” said Kristen Galyean.

This 2019 VSAG Incentive is open to anyone who owns a two year old in 2019 sired by either VS Code Red or VS Flatline AND has a 2019 PAID IN FULL contract for any mare to breed to either VS Code Red or VS Flatline (excluding any rebreeds). To clarify, ALL offspring from 2016 breeding season/2017 foals will be eligible for this incentive as long as the original breeder has a mare with a PAID IN FULL CONTRACT to either VS Code Red or VS Flatline or the current owner of the eligible horse has a mare with a PAID IN FULL contract during the 2019 breeding season to either VS Code Red or VS Flatline. No discounts or donated breedings will be available for this incentive.

If mare owner has multiple eligible two year old horses, a paid in full breeding will be needed for each to make them both eligible for the incentive. If they only have one paid in full breeding contract and show more than one two year old, they will need to designate one as their eligible two year old.

If, by the rare incidence, that neither a VS Code Red or VS Flatline makes the finals of the 2019 AQHA World Championship Show Two Year Old Western Pleasure class, and there is not a winner of the $25,000 VSAG Incentive in 2019, the $25,000 will carry over to the following year of 2020.

VS Code Red and VS Flatline stand at EE Ranches Inc. in Whitesboro, Texas, for a fee of $2,750 (includes chute fee and first shipment).

Our goal for the VSAG Incentive is to promote the pleasure horse industry, and bring added excitement for the trainers, owners and breeders.
